A wide, sweeping frame seems to lift effortlessly from the floor. Solid cast feet root the bed while similar castings at the four upper edges provide it with an air of permanence. Four dashing curly-cue spindles give the bed an interesting flair. Double barrel castings grace the center of both the 54 ¼” headboard and the 37 ¼” footboard. Spindles carefully line up between the sweeping curves of the connecting spindles. The Lillian is finished in Lustre Brass—a finish bright with promise and a hint of sunshine. The smooth surface seems almost glasslike as it shimmers its way around the clean lines of the frame. This finish is maintenance-free and cool to the touch.
