And the depth, a generous 33”. But it’s the massive arms that make this futon so distinctive. Cylindrical tubes rest heavily on the floor—their curved design supporting the overall frame. Within the hollowed out interior of the arms, three reeds are grouped in the center, the outermost bars purposefully “bending” under the weight of the frame.The Kodiak is finished in pitch Black, similar to nights on the Alaskan coast. The pure, gleaming surface is smooth, cool and haunting.
